A minimum conversational level of English is sufficient. At the school in Norway we are an international community, so the standard language that everybody speaks is English

In Fighting with the Poor program depending on the country, you choose to volunteer it may help to know Portuguese.

It is not compulsory, but it is helpful if you choose to work in countries like Mozambique, or Angola. Many of our students start learning it on their own when they arrive at the school.

In Learn To Travel program, we advise you to pick up a basic level of Spanish which is simply going to make your travels a bit more interesting.

If you are very eager and would like to make an effort for the team, you can always learn a basic level of Norwegian which will give you better opportunities in pre-course period!
