What is pre-course?
The Pre-Course is an optional period before the start of our programs, created by us, for our students. We are aware of the economic situation in the world today, and we are also mindful of the salary level in the European Countries. F

Who can enroll
Unfortunately, your nationality is the main limitation which does not depend on the will of our institution, but on the legislation of Norway. To take part in the programs, you will need to stay in Norway for at least 3 or 6 months depending on your program, so the acceptance is according to the rules of visa-free rules of Norway which you can find out in UDI. For Pre-Course we can accept only EU/EEA passports and citizens of Canada, Japan, Austrailia, and New Zealand.
when are the application dates?
New teams for the pre-course start each year on the first of March and September, but the Introduction week for the team is always a week before the starting date. You can apply and enroll latest a month before the starting date if there is places left. Be aware of the following things:

What languages do I need to know to participate?
A minimum conversational level of English is sufficient. At the school in Norway we are an international community, so the standard language that everybody speaks is English In Fighting with the Poor program depending on the country, you choose to volunteer it may help to know Portuguese. It is not compulsory, but it is helpful if you choose to work in countries like Mozambique, or Angola. Many of our students start learning it on their own when they arrive at school.
